Frequently Asked Questions

Is The Museum Collective affiliated with the museums? +

No. The Museum Collective is a completely independent entity. While our guides mention specific museum names and exhibits for educational purposes, this is strictly an educational tool. We are not endorsed by, directly affiliated with, or sponsored by any museum or heritage site. Therefore, we are not legally liable for any discrepancies or changes within these institutions.

Where are your guides from? +

The Museum Collective is an international site. Our collective is a global circle of world-class creators, and we proudly accept guides from all nationalities and in all languages. We believe great stories have no borders.

What if I don’t see my museum on the website? +

We are constantly expanding! If there is a specific museum you want a guide for, please email us at hello@themuseumcollective.com. We will prioritize adding it to our site for you.

How do I get my guides? +

To keep our mission accessible and low-impact, all guides are digital downloads. You find the best guide, print it, and enjoy! No physical books are mailed.

What if I don't see a download button? +

Don’t worry! If your download link doesn’t appear immediately after purchase, simply email us at hello@themuseumcollective.com and our team will get your guide to you right away.

What is your liability policy? +

While our guides are field-tested for the ageless explorer, things change. We are not liable for museum closures, exhibit changes, or any personal injury sustained while exploring. You are responsible for following all museum rules and staying safe.

I am a museum expert but I can’t design—what should I do? +

No worries! We love collaborating with experts. We have two ways to work together:

  • Option A: We can buy the research/data from you and design the guide under the TMC brand.
  • Option B: We can pair you with a professional designer to create your custom guide at a set cost, and then 100% of the download proceeds belong to you.
Are these guides for kids? +

We offer specific "Little Explorers" versions for children and "Ageless Explorer" versions for everyone else. Both are designed to turn passive viewing into active discovery.
